Data protection
This privacy policy clarifies the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of data of visitors and users (hereinafter collectively referred to as “users”) by Avicenna – Institute for Traditional Naturopathy Claude Diolosa, Via Padre Pio 15, Assisi, PG 06081, Italy (hereinafter “provider”) as the data controller under data protection law. If you have any questions, please contact diolosainfo@gmail.com.
Collection of access data
The provider collects data about every access to the online offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
The provider uses the log data without allocation to the person of the user or other profiling in accordance with the statutory provisions only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the online offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.
Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is only collected and used by the provider if this is permitted by law or if the user consents to the collection of data. As a rule, it is clear to users when using the service which data is stored, for example name, e-mail address and message when using the order form.
The personal data provided for the purpose of ordering goods (such as name, email address, address, payment data) are used by the seller to fulfill and process the contract. This data is treated confidentially, transmitted in encrypted form and not passed on to third parties who are not involved in the ordering, delivery and payment process.
When contacting the provider (via contact form or email), the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise.
The provider has taken organizational, contractual and technical security measures to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and that accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons is prevented.
Data forwarding to third parties
User data is only forwarded to third parties if this is permitted by law or if a user has consented to the forwarding.
This is the case, for example, if the forwarding of the data serves to fulfill contractual obligations to the user and the postal address is transferred to a shipping company after a store order. For example, we would like to point out that the order data is forwarded to the Boznerplatz pharmacy in Innsbruck to process the order.
Users’ personal data is not sold or forwarded to third parties for advertising purposes or for the purpose of creating user profiles.
Cookies
The provider uses “cookies” as part of its online offering. Cookies are small files that are stored on the user’s computer and can store information for providers. Temporary cookies are deleted after the browser is closed; permanent cookies are retained for a specified period and can make the stored information available when the online service is called up again.
Cookies are used on the one hand to facilitate the use of the service. For example, a cookie saves the user’s shopping basket status.
The user can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. Provider endeavors to design the online offer in such a way that the use of cookies is not necessary. However, it should be noted that the use and in particular the ease of use are restricted without cookies.
Sending information by newsletter
E-mails with further information about the provider and its services are sent by actively subscribing to the newsletter and ordering products. Users can object to receiving the newsletter at any time. An opt-out option can be found in every email.
Before the newsletter is sent, the email owner receives a confirmation email in which they must confirm their newsletter registration. Unconfirmed registrations are automatically deleted within four weeks at the latest.
Messages within the scope of the contractual relationship with the user are not considered advertising information. This includes the sending of technical information, information on payment processing, queries about orders and similar messages.
Users can subsequently request to be removed from the notification list by sending an email to the contact options specified above.
As part of the registration process, the provider stores the time of registration and confirmation and the user’s IP address. The provider is legally obliged to log the registrations in order to be able to prove proper registration.
Use of YouTube plugins
We use the provider YouTube, among others, for the integration of videos. YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC, headquartered at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube is represented by Google Inc. with its registered office at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
We use plugins from the provider YouTube on some of our websites. When you access the web pages of our website that have such a plugin – for example our media library – a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the plugin is displayed. This tells the YouTube server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in to YouTube as a member, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account. When you use the plugin, e.g. by clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your YouTube user account and other user accounts of YouTube LLC and Google Inc. before using our website and deleting the corresponding cookies of the companies.
Further information on data processing and notes on data protection by YouTube (Google) can be found at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Revocation, amendments, corrections and updates
The user has the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about the personal data that the provider has stored about them. Contact details can be found in the provider’s legal notice.
In addition, the user has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete their personal data, provided there is no legal obligation to retain it.
Changes to the privacy policy
The provider reserves the right to amend the privacy policy in order to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or changes to the service and data processing.
