OPENING THE GATE is used for the treatment of primary Damp-Heat toxins in the Yang Ming (Stomach and Large Intestine) and should only be used for a short time, otherwise the Qi of the Spleen could be injured. This preparation eliminates Damp-Heat and toxins via the excretory system, protects against pus and abscesses and promotes intestinal transit.
