Description
DEEP BLUE (Lyme disease stage 3): several months after the tick bite, infected persons who have not received adequate treatment can develop severe and chronic symptoms. Symptom-free latency periods of months or even years with subsequent flare-ups of the disease are possible. For example, acrodermatisi chroncia atrophicans Herxheimer (ACA) often only occurs years later. It can also lead to chronic recurrent Lyme arthritis with a variety of clinical pictures or to an infestation of the central and peripheral nervous system (neuroborreliosis) with polyneuropathy, Borrelia meningitis, Lyme encephalomyelitis or encephalitis. Chronic diseases of the sensory organs, joints and muscles are also possible. Chronic diseases of the joints are called Lyme arthritis. Inflammatory bursitis can also occur.
The treatment of LYME disease requires special attention and should be treated in the same way as Wen Bing Xue disease (heat disease). The pathogen injected by the tick from its digestive system (YANG MING) can, in severe cases, enter the XUE FEN through the four layers (SI FEN) and attack the nervous system.
