Description
POSEIDON 2 is used for the treatment of herniated discs. This preparation nourishes the Yin, clears Empty Heat and Blood Heat, moves the Blood, fortifies the Spleen, opens the Luo and TMM Vessels and expels invading Dampness.
This preparation may only be used for herniated discs with yin deficiency and wet heat. POSEIDON 2 is not suitable for Yang deficiency. The energetic picture here is somewhat complex. The patient has Internal Dampness due to Spleen Qi deficiency, which turns into Dampness Heat due to Yin Weakness and Empty Heat. Together with Feng Shi and especially Shi Wen PE, which block the Luo vessels, this leads to a herniated disc.
