WIND SCREEN is used for the treatment of mumps and should be taken immediately in high doses for 12 days to avoid late effects. This preparation removes wind heat toxins from the Shao Yang (salivary glands), prevents the penetration of toxins (RE DU) into the Jue Yin (liver = testicles > orchitis) and protects the nervous system (meningitis = YING FEN and XUE FEN syndrome).
