Description
SUNSET is used for the congenital and also very chronic form of atopic dermatitis that occurs after birth or after vaccinations. This preparation penetrates the XUE FEN, expels dampness and heat toxins from the blood layer, expels skin wind (Wei Fen), relieves itching, protects Yin and calms HUN and SHEN.
Take care: The skin may be dry, but dampness/phlegm still conceals Heat and Blood stasis in the XUE FEN and under the skin. The rash manifests mainly around the eyes, around the mouth, in the hollow of the knees (Bladder 40) and on the inside of the elbow (Circuit 3). When Empty-Heat spreads, the rash is mainly seen along the Yang Ming and Shao Yang meridians. It should be noted that the congenital form of atopic dermatitis can occur due to foetal toxins, consumption of seafood during pregnancy and especially as a result of vaccines.
